Krasnoselsky circus Museum
In the center of the village of Krasnoselki in the Odessa region, there is a large bright building. This is the Krasnoselsky House of culture. In the evenings it is illuminated by the lights. People are rushing to his entrance from all sides.
They enter the foyer and immediately fall into an unusual, peculiar world: sparkle and Shine in the height of the openwork design. The oddly shaped stands seem to float one after the other. This is an exhibition of the Museum of circus art, created here on a voluntary basis.
The beginning of the Museum of circus art in the village was laid in the summer of 1979. Its founders were participants of the children’s Amateur circus “Yunost”, pioneers and Komsomol members of Krasnoselskaya high school.
Collections were collected bit by bit. From Moscow, Leningrad, Kiev and other cities of the Soviet Union, artists sent props, rare books, photos and other material.
